Is it possible to rent a water filtration system ?

How often do we renew membranes ?

Our feedback from more than 20 years reported a turnover of between 5 and 15 years. Depending on the flow, quality water treatment and operation, renewal occurs on average after 8 years.

My water is turbid. What to do ?

Ultrafiltration removes turbidity whatever the quality of water to be treated, even with peaks > 100 NTU. Turbidity ultrafiltered water will always be less than 0.01 NTU.

How to improve life of my reverse osmosis membranes ?

Pretreatment for reverse osmosis, the ultrafiltration reduces washes and clogging (SDI <3). This increases the flow performance and life of reverse osmosis membranes.

What is the cutting threshold ?

The cutoff threshold indicates the molecular weight from which the particles and molecules will be retained. The cutoff threshold is expressed in daltons (g / mol). Example: cutoff = 15 000 dalton means that all molecules with a molecular weight greater than 15,000 will be retained.

Why replace my sand filter ?

Ultrafiltration delivers a constant water quality 100% of the time whatever the variations of quality of raw water. Its filtering power is 1000 times higher than the sand filter. In addition, this technology can significantly reduce the amount of chlorine injected into the drinking water network. It is a guarantee of water without taste or smell.

How to remove pesticides ?

Yes. Pesticides are dissolved elements which can be selected easily by adding CAP process (Crystal Degrémont) to ultrafiltration or by pre-treatment GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) controlled by our systems.

My water contains bacteria and viruses. What to do ?

The ultrafiltration membrane removes 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.99% of viruses. The wall of the membrane acts as a filter for all particles larger than 10-20nm: pollen, algae, parasites (ex. Cryptosporidium and Giardia), bacteria (ex. Escherichia coli, ...), viruses (ex. H1N1), organic molecules ... while retaining minerals. The filtering capacity of the ultrafiltration is 1000 times greater than that of the sand filter.
